If you notice your supply of hot water isn’t lasting as long as it should, it might be because something’s wrong with your tank water heater. The heating element will sometimes accumulate too much grime and mineral buildup.
A toilet that’s running constantly could be dealing with several different problems, including a broken flapper seal, flush valve or flapper chain. You may find it’s the handle itself that’s causing the problem. A running toilet wastes a lot of water, so it’s important to call Expert plumbers promptly at 281-407-9478.
One of the most common reasons your dishwasher isn’t draining fully is because there’s a clog in the drain line. The line, sometimes referred to as a drain hose, pumps water from the dishwasher tub at the end of a cycle. When the drain line clogs, water may not be able to flow properly. Contact our certified plumbers for troubleshooting and repairs.
A fast response is essential when struggling with a burst pipe as a result of freezing. Expert plumbers are better equipped to resolve burst pipe repairs, but there are several things you can do on your own to keep the pipes from icing over in the first place:
Open any cabinet doors to permit warmer air to circulate around the plumbing. Be sure to move any harmful cleaners and household chemicals up out of the reach of children.
Let the cold water drip from faucets most at risk of freezing up. Running water through the pipe—even at a trickle—helps stop ice from forming and freezing.
Minimize changes to the thermostat and keep your home at a minimum of 50 degrees, even when you’re not home.

Dump food scraps right away with cold water and leave the disposal on for about 30 seconds to ensure everything is broken down. You should also avoid dumping coffee grounds, eggshells, potato peels and other large food waste into the disposal, because they lead to drainage issues and bad smells.
A diagnostic fee, also known as a service call fee, is a typical charge used by HVAC companies once someone is dispatched to your home to diagnose the root cause of what’s affecting your HVAC system. A diagnostic fee covers the technician’s time, expertise and travel costs associated with determining the underlying cause of the problem. It’s essentially a service fee for the technician’s professional assessment to find the cause of the malfunction.
It’s like visiting your doctor. They have to examine you to help figure out what’s wrong before proposing treatment. Similarly, your HVAC professional must examine your system to decide on the repair or maintenance course of action.
