Midland Air Service Experts was excited to participate in the Midlands Ride for Kids last month. April 2016 is the second year that Midland Air has volunteered for this remarkable event that benefits the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the leading nonprofit supporting research into childhood brain tumors. The donations fund free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial help for families.
Midland Air Service Experts donated $1000 to this wonderful cause and the nationwide event has raised over half-a-million dollars. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been involved in the event since 2014 and her father’s riding group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids annually.
“My dad’s riding club gets involved every year because they can have a good time and ride motorcycles, all for a great cause.” You can see Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The big-hearted motorcycle riders may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts isn’t as into the riding part of the event. “We just do it for the kids,” said Rebecca.
